...but what Does Cold-Pressed mean?
In order to give you the most delicious and nutrient-rich juice possible, we proudly use a Hydraulic Cold-Press Juicer.
Why? Traditional juicers (known as centrifugal or masticating juicers), Vitamixes, and smoothie machines use a high-speed grinding method to liquify produce, which is vastly more damaging to the produce's cellular structure, also generating lots of heat in the process. Both of these speed up the oxidation process of raw juice, which diminishes many valuable vitamins and nutrients, much faster than juice that's been cold-pressed. The cold-pressed method gently extracts juice by cut small chunks of pulp once, then slowly pressing those pieces of fruits and vegetables, to extract the nectar. This process helps preserve the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. The result is a more nutritious, better tasting juice that lasts longer.
