Retail Category Manager

Who we are: Happy Moose Juice is an organic, cold-pressed juice company, based in the vibrant neighborhood of Bayview, San Francisco. We recently launched a line of lightly processed juices for wholesale, and have quickly grown our sales and distribution base in the bay area. We sell to many great, reputable businesses like natural food markets, coffee shops, cafes, offices, etc. In light of our recent growth in sales and distribution, we are searching for some experienced and qualified individuals to join our team. Current Company Growth: We are excited to be in the middle of a rapid growth phase. We have experienced 2X sales growth in Q1, 2018 and expect to achieve 3-4X figures by EOY. Goal: The goal of this position is to grow the top line and gross profit at each retail location.

Role Responsibilities

  • Account Manager
    • Measuring and managing sales growth within pre-existing sales channels
  • Distribution Relationship Manager
    • Scheduling distributor(s) pickups and deliveries
    • Cross-functional work with internal sales team
  • Retail Demo Support
    • Design and build-out of retail demo strategy
    • Hiring / training / managing sales demo team
  • Merchandising Manager
    • Shelf Space Utilization
    • Packaging
    • Promotional Strategy
  • Retail Product Manager
    • Creating a product positioning strategy (ex: size, price, etc)
    • Product packaging
    • Product line optimization

Compensation: This is a full-time salary exempt position. Compensation is based on experience. Total compensation includes salary, health insurance stipend, vested equity, and free juice.
